OSHA 30 certification is now the minimum recommended level of safety training for all construction trades. Additionally, NYC DOB’s new Site Safety Training requirement (“SST”) mandates that supervisors have 62 hours of training by June 1st, 2019 and all workers must have 40 hours of SST by September 2020. The OSHA 30 forms a base for those required hours.
